Have you ever wondered what loons are saying with those eerie calls in the night, or why loon chicks sometimes ride on their parents’ backs? Join Kathy Gunther, Field Biologist with the Loon Preservation Committee, for a talk on the natural history of Common Loons in New Hampshire on Thursday, July 25 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Harris Center. Kathy will also describe LPC’s work to safeguard this iconic — and threatened — bird species, and what you can do to help.  Cosponsored by the Harris Center and the Loon Preservation Committee.
