How To Get Lost and Found in the Woods
Do you know what to do if you’re lost in the woods? Join Michael Hightower, the Harris Center’s newest naturalist, for three afternoons of exploring basic woodland safety skills and survival tips. You’ll learn how to use a compass, read a map, spot landmarks, and explore new technologies as you navigate your way in and out of the forest. These afternoons will be filled with outdoor adventures. Come get lost and found with us this fall!
This afterschool program — for students in Grades 3 through 5 — meets Thursdays, November 3, 10, and 17, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Harris Center.
Cost: $30 for Harris Center members/$50 for non-members
