Fruit Tree Know-How with Roger Swain on April 12

We’ll spend time with the Harris Center’s old apple trees, learning how to revive their health and appearance through pruning. Then we’ll travel a short distance to Old Tavern Orchard in Hancock to learn the art of bending and shaping young fruit trees, from peaches to apples, for a lifetime of productivity. Meet at the Harris Center at 10 a.m. Ends at Old Tavern Orchard at noon. Come prepared to be outside for the whole time.
