For more than four decades, the Harris Center has had a transformative impact on the land and people of the Monadnock Region. Our programs range from Naturalist-in-Residence environmental education in 27 area schools to the conservation of over 18,000 acres of scenic and working landscapes for people and wildlife to over 100 public, nature-focused outings and events each year and a diverse array of citizen science projects. Connecting people to their local environment and ensuring extensive opportunities to experience the natural world, the Harris Center enhances the region and inspires conservation values that reach well beyond our immediate area and far into the future.
