Harris Center summer programs bring out the best in childhood summers.
Our adventures focus on play and outdoor exploration for every age.
2010 Schedule
- Wol’s Nest For 34 years Wol’s Nest Day Camp has been the highlight of summer for countless area children. Our experienced staff lead one and two week sessions for children entering 1st-5th grade.
- Session 1: July 5 through 16 (two weeks)
- Session 2: July 19 through 23
- Session 3: July 26 through 30
- Spoonwood Adventure For over 10 years, middle school aged children have celebrated blueberry season canoeing and camping on Spoonwood Pond in Nelson. Campers on this four night wilderness trip enjoy canoeing, swimming, living in the wild, and gain a sense of independence. For children entering 6th through 8th grade.
- Voyagers Voyagers is Wol’s Nest all grown up. Five days of longer hikes and canoe trips challenge middle schoolers to hone their wilderness travel skills. Games and beautiful scenery make this a fun and memorable experience.
- Wee Wols This is an introduction to Wol’s Nest fun for four and a half to six year olds. This morning program connects young children to nature through stories, games, songs, and short hikes.
- Session 1: Preschool starting at age 4: June 28 through July 2, 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
- Sessoion 2: Children entering kindergarten: July 5 through July 9, 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
